In the beginning, before the foundation of the world, the Lamb was slain (Revelation 13:8). God purposed grace before time began (2 Timothy 1:9), and in the fullness of time sent His Son, saying, Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. (John 1:29) He did not come to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. (John 3:17) For He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world. (1 John 2:2) Thus the word of God testifies, God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their transgressions against them. (2 Corinthians 5:19)

This is the testimony of God: your sins are forgiven. This is the judgment of God: can you believe this? For he who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (John 3:18) And again it is written, If you forgive the sins of any, their sins have been forgiven them. (John 20:23) We are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. (2 Corinthians 5:20)

The messenger does not create forgiveness; he declares it. The authority is not his own, for the word that you hear is not Mine, but the Father’s who sent Me. (John 14:24) It is the Spirit who convicts, And He, when He comes, will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment. (John 16:8) and it is the Spirit who gives birth, That which is born of the Spirit is spirit. (John 3:6) for no one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him. (John 6:44)

So faith comes not by fear, but by hearing, So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ. (Romans 10:17) Therefore the servants of the kingdom sow the seed without measure, for the sower went out to sow. (Mark 4:3) Not knowing which ground will bear fruit, they sow in hope, for the word of God is living and active. (Hebrews 4:12) And the wind blows where it wishes, (John 3:8), so the Spirit works as He wills. The love of Christ controls us, having concluded this, that One died for all, therefore all died. (2 Corinthians 5:14) And again, If I proclaim the gospel, I have nothing to boast of, for I am under compulsion; for woe is me if I do not proclaim the gospel! (1 Corinthians 9:16)

Therefore we speak: All your sins are forgiven. God has reconciled you to Himself in Christ. Believe, and live.
