1 Corinthians 1:27-29
Listen, my beloved brothers. Didn’t God choose those who are poor in this world to be rich in faith, and heirs of the Kingdom which he promised to those who love him? — James 2:5
He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. — 2 Corinthians 12:9
But we have this treasure in clay vessels, that the exceeding greatness of the power may be of God, and not from ourselves. — 2 Corinthians 4:7
but God chose the foolish things of the world that he might put to shame those who are wise. God chose the weak things of the world, that he might put to shame the things that are strong; — 1 Corinthians 1:27

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, that you may proclaim the excellence of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light: — 1 Peter 2:9
